Eh

This has blown my tiny mind.

Strangeglove

My work for the 2nd Year Intermedia exhibition, consisting of approximately 600 strawberry laces. I've not counted them but I used 20 packets and each lace is around a metre long:

'Over 30m of laces per pack'
20 x 30 = 600

They've already started to become brittle and as I ran my fingers through them today, some of the ends broke off. Also, prior to the opening, a mouse may have chewed through one of the laces. So now it may be 599 laces.

Darkspace Documentation

Because we have to clear our studio spaces at college, I needed to move the wooden pallets I had used during the darkspace brief. But before I threw them out I needed to go back into the space to document the piece I showed at the final crit for the brief. I used to spotlight to light the space and I moved the pallets around to see how the way they were placed changed the the dynamics of the space. Also the shadows they cast were just as architectural as the pallets themselves. I'm really happy with how the photos turned out; they have a drawn quality to them that I like. They remind me of photograms as well which links back to blocking light to make an image.
